Colts and Packers will face on Friday August 26, 2011 8:00 PM ET in week 3 of the NFL Preseason at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Betting odds are up at Watch the game on CBS.
Packers come as favorites with a point spread of -9 along a total over-under line of 39 points. Green Bay defeated the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field on August 19 with a score of 28-20 covering the -5 spread in a game that was not exciting but full of penalties. Quarterbacks Flynn, Rodgers and Harrell all saw some action with Matt Flynn completing 5 of 6 for 141 yards and 1 TD. Packers’ starter QB Aaron Rodgers completed 9 of 12 for 97 yards and a touchdown.

The Colts have lost their two previous preseason matches against Seattle and Washington. The Redskins took the victory in Indianapolis last week with a score of 16-3 covering the -5 point spread. QB Curtis Painter had a poor performance completing 5 of 10 for 40 yards while Dan Orlovsky finished 7 out of 17 for 67 yards and one touchdown. Things don’t look good for Jim Caldwell’s team as they struggled to make good plays and it shows they also need more depth in some areas.
The last time these two teams met was back on October 19, 2008 when the Packers at home defeated the Colts with a score 34-14 being +1 on the point spread and the game going over 46½
